Have you ever just gone into school for a brand new year and just thought that this year was your year and you would pass with flying colors? Plus once you finally get your first homework assignment and you come up with an Excuse not to do it. Of coarse you think its one assignment, so what? Then you get your first project you put it off until the very last minute and you come in to science class with water and baking soda hoping to impress your chemistry teacher. Of coarse once again your attempt to wow your teacher fails miserably. As more homework assignments fly by you begin to slack off and stop organizing yourself you begin to get C's and perhaps even D's in certain classes depending on side of the brain that you are dominate in. Oh and don't you love when you lose your workbook in a class then fail again and again and again while your teacher simply bitches at you and gives your parents a phone call? The only reason America is considered to have a good education system is because us slackers get out the easy way if we suck at life, while the real prodigy's go over to college, because you took standard classes in high school. Of coarse when I get in there I'm taking at least the highest diploma challenge it's like taking the advanced courses just longer. Now I guess this is my declaration that I'm going to stop slacking before I'm a hobo working at McDonald's (nothing against McDonald's employees I love the sandwiches I just don't want to make them.) Though of course after writing this I will probably be the same slacker as I was before. I will try though I guess. Best of luck to all who are going into another nine weeks!
